The tournament course will be marked by the Tour Staff prior to the event. In addition to the normal course markings, the staff will place a small white dot on the front and back of each green to define the green depth. Along with these dots, there will be larger dots placed in the center of each fairway to indicate yardage to the white dot on the front of the green. The dots will be color coordinated as follows:
1. Yellow/Red Dot - 75 yards to front of green
2. Red Dot - 100 yards to front of green
3. White Dot - 150 yards to front of green
4. Blue Dot - 200 yards to front of green
5. Yellow Dot - 250 yards to front of green
On all par 3's, the yardage will be marked on the back of the tee box. This number represents the distance from the line on the back of the tee box to the white dot on the front of the green. |
