Connell Wins Rain Shortened Lake Conroe Open
Heavy rains Tuesday evening made the conditions at Walden on Lake Conroe unplayable for the third and final round of the Lake Conroe Open. Andy Connell (Denver, CO) wins his first event on the Adams Series with a 5 under par 36 hole total. Connell's strong opening round of six under, 66, helped him secure the win. Shaun Goodwin (Houston, TX) finished in second alone after posting the only round in the 60's on day two (68). Touring veteran, Eric Bogar (Houston, TX) and Adam Rubinson (FT Worth, TX) finished in a tie for 3rd. |
